Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MilesPlus, a fleet fuel-efficiency management platform operated by SoftPalm Technologies. By creating an account, accepting an invitation to join a MilesPlus workspace, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
MilesPlus lets an organization ("tenant") track vehicles, fuel purchases, driver shifts and trips, maintenance records, and fuel-additive efficiency trials, and invite team members and drivers to participate. Each tenant's data is logically isolated from other tenants.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
- An account can belong to more than one tenant (for example, a support contact assisting several organizations, or a driver invited to more than one fleet).
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Plans, trials, and billing
MilesPlus is offered under multiple plans, including free-trial and paid tiers. Available plans and pricing are shown in the application.
MilesPlus does not currently process payments through an integrated third-party payment processor within the application. How billing, invoicing, and payment collection are actually handled — and any refund or cancellation terms — is a business decision that has not yet been confirmed for this document. Do not treat this page as stating a refund or cancellation policy until that is added.
A trial period, where offered, is time-limited as shown in your account. We may change plan pricing or features on a going-forward basis; material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated to the account before taking effect.
4. Your data
As between you and MilesPlus, your organisation retains ownership of the operational data it enters into the platform (vehicle records, fuel logs, trial data, and similar). We process this data to provide the service to you — see the Privacy Policy and Data Processing & Sub-processors pages for how.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access another tenant's data, or circumvent the isolation between tenant workspaces.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use the service to store or transmit unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights (including through file uploads such as organisation logos).
- Interfere with the service's operation, including through excessive automated requests that circumvent rate limiting.
- Use another person's account, or invite someone to an account, without their knowledge.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the fleet and fuel data your organisation enters — MilesPlus calculates efficiency and trial results from the data provided and does not independently verify it.
6. Team members, drivers, and invitations
Account owners and administrators can invite team members and drivers to a tenant. By accepting an invitation, an invitee agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The inviting organisation is responsible for the invitations it sends and the access it grants.
7. Support access
Authorized MilesPlus administrators may access your account to provide support, in the manner described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to a tenant account for reasons including non-payment, a violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, or a legal or security requirement. Where practical, we will attempt to notify the account before or promptly after suspension. You may stop using the service at any time; the process for closing an account and what happens to its data afterward has not yet been confirmed for this document.
9. Disclaimers
MilesPlus is provided "as is." Fuel-efficiency and additive-trial calculations are estimates based on the data you provide and are not a guarantee of real-world results. Specific warranty disclaimers and limitation-of-liability language are jurisdiction-dependent and have not been drafted here — this section should not be relied on as a complete or enforceable liability limitation until reviewed by qualified legal counsel.
10. Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change, we will update the version number and effective date at the top of this page, and may request renewed acceptance where these Terms are part of an acceptance flow (such as registration).
11. Governing law
Governing law / jurisdiction — confirm before relying on this document.
